Brief content | This study deals with the production of the biogas in the anaerobic fermentation process in which the Paulownia sp. leaves were used as the substrate. Appraisal of the methanogenic activity was realized by batch mathanogenic tests performed under mesophilic conditions. Substrate for these tests were fresh leaves, ensiled leaves and chemical treated leaves (addition of acetic acid). Based on the results, it is clear that this plant has metanogenic potential and is a suitable candidate for alternative sources of biogas production. |
