| Brief content | Hydrodynamics conditions of agitation in a flocculation process are characterized by the shear rate and flow just in the boundary layer at the impeller blades. It has enabled us to develop a model for scale up of the flocculation equipment and to predict the time required for the optimum floc formation. |
