Brief content | Next to traditional biological methods used in wastewater treatment, Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and ozonation processes are widely used for degradation of micropollutants and priority pollutants. This paper aims to study degradation of chlorinated pesticide lindane (γ-hexachlorocyclohexane) by means of Fenton reaction (Fe2+/H2O2), catalyzed ozonation (Fe2+/O3; Fe3+/O3) and ozonation processes (O3). |
