Brief content | Experimental design of continuous bicyclic lactone production via recombinant cyclohexanone monooxygenase. Two types of biocatalysts were tested: whole-cells and immobilized cells in polyelectrolyte hydrogel (bead diameter of 1mm). Key step was to find the limits such system. Consequently, the productivity has to be maximized. |
