Brief content | Vapor-liquid equilibrium for tetrahydrofurane – acetonitrile system and equimolar mixture chloroform – tetrahydrofurane – acetonitrile have been measured at atmospheric pressure. The thermodynamic modeling of vapor-liquid equilibria was simulated with Aspen Plus software package. The effect of different amounts of dimethyl sulfoxide on the relative volatilities of substances was also experimentally evaluated. The extractive distillation with dimethyl sulfoxide proposed for tetrahydrofuran isolation. The ED process was designed and optimized. |
