| Brief content | The study aims to find a quick method to determine an amine concentration whit acceptable precision. In this paper, indirect methods of concentration determination, such as density measurement, conductometry, pH measurement, refraction measurement, and FTIR (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy) analysis are investigated. In this study, aqueous solution of N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) amine is investigated. This tertiary amine MDEA has a great potential to be used for the CO2 absorption process thanks to high CO2 loading capacity and relatively low regeneration energy. |
