Brief content The aim of this work is to examine the efficacy of drug removal by sorption processes. Under the laboratory conditions sorption tests were carried out with wastewater from wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluents. Samples from WWTP Devínska Nová Ves were subjected to a kinetic test with zeolite from Slovak company Zeocem and activated carbon. The second sample of effluent was from WWTP Stupava. Sorption tests were performed with various zeolite fractions and biochar.
