Brief content | In this study, poly(methacrylic acid-co-itaconic acid)/MWCNT nanocomposite hydrogels (P(MAA-co-IA)/MWCNT) were synthesized. Stimuli-sensitive swelling behavior of the hydrogels and nanocomposite hydrogels was investigated at different pH values and at various temperatures and swelling kinetic study was performed. Detailed characterizations of the hydrogels and nanocomposite hydrogels were carried out using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
